This weekly Friday series gives founders the mic to share their vision and get unfiltered feedback from a community of operators, leaders, and peers.
In this session, Hildee Isaacs presented Gotta Sing Events, a group sing-along experience designed for restaurants, venues, and communities that want joy, connection, and full dining rooms on off nights. A lifelong theater lover and creative producer, Hildee is building a turnkey format for guests who love to sing but hate karaoke. Think dinner first, then a 90-minute hosted sing-along with a DJ-MC, curated playlists, and on-screen lyrics so everyone can join without pressure. The concept starts with Broadway but flexes to themes like Sinatra, Taylor Swift, Yacht Rock, or corporate team nights, and it travels easily to 55+ and memory-care communities where familiar songs spark recall and togetherness. Gotta Sing Events handles ticketing and production while restaurants gain predictable traffic and content-worthy moments. It’s a simple idea done thoughtfully, turning tables into a chorus and nostalgia into new regulars.
Listen to the replay of this first session and follow Cali BBQ Media to join future rooms, pitch your company, and learn from the community.
Every Friday at 10am PT / 1pm ET, Shawn P. Walchef hosts Pitch the Tide live.
