Summary

Brad Engel is the President of Flagship Cruises and Events; one of San Diego’s greatest forms of waterfront entertainment from the high-speed thrills of The Patriot jet boat to fine dining and event cruises.
Flagship started in 1915 offering harbor tours and ferrying people between downtown San Diego and Coronado. Over a hundred years later they service more than 1 million passengers per year.
The completion of the Coronado bridge in the 1960s pushed Flagship to diversify their fleet and shift their focus to private charters and excursions.
Being a positive influence and giving back to your community by investing in your staff.
The obstacles of transporting a 70 foot jet boat across the country from New Jersey to California.
Brad and Derek share the invaluable lessons they’ve learned being raised in a family business and the hardships of managing a professional familial relationship.
