In this latest Coaching Call with entrepreneur, podcast host, and mentor David Meltzer, host Shawn Walchef explores the power of YouTube, Instagram posting and going live!

The World is Your Stage

In today’s ever-evolving digital landscape, staying relevant requires strategy, consistency, and embracing the right platforms. Business coach and entrepreneur David Meltzer, known for his impactful insights, emphasizes three key pillars for building your brand online: leveraging YouTube, committing to frequent posting on Instagram, and the transformative power of going live.

David Meltzer calls YouTube “the biggest TV station in the world,” a platform he believes is essential for anyone serious about growing their brand. With over 122,000 subscribers and 2,500 videos, Meltzer demonstrates firsthand the power of YouTube as a content powerhouse.

He shifted 80% of his focus to YouTube after the platform secured major broadcasting rights like the NFL’s Sunday Ticket, positioning itself as a dominant player in global media. Meltzer stresses that YouTube offers more than just reach; it fosters deep, lasting community engagement.

“If you’re not spending money on YouTube, creating your own YouTube channel, or licensing content, you’re making a huge mistake,” Meltzer explains. The platform’s scalability allows content creators to build an expansive digital footprint, rivaling traditional TV networks like CBS and NBC. By investing in YouTube today, you are securing a future with unparalleled opportunities for visibility and impact.

Heavy Posting on Instagram: No Such Thing as Too Much

On Instagram, consistency and volume reign supreme. Meltzer dismisses the myth of overposting, asserting that the key to growth is relentless content exposure. With over 6,000 posts under his belt, Meltzer highlights the importance of creating touchpoints with your audience.

“You haven’t hit the minimum posting threshold until someone addicted to your content tells you you’re posting too much,” he says. Rather than overthinking the timing or frequency of your posts, prioritize reaching as many people as possible. This approach not only broadens your reach but also cultivates a community of engaged ambassadors—people who don’t just consume your content but also amplify it.

Meltzer’s philosophy is simple: the more content you produce, the higher the chance of resonating with your target audience. Authentic engagement and valuable opportunities often come from unexpected followers who are silently consuming your work.

The Game-Changer: Going Live

For Meltzer, going live is a game-changer. Whether it’s answering audience questions or showcasing unfiltered authenticity, live streaming builds trust and fosters genuine connections. Meltzer has mastered the art of live broadcasting across multiple platforms, reaching thousands of concurrent viewers.

“Why not go live? You’re already creating content, so do it live and amplify its impact,” he advises. Live sessions allow creators to capture content in real time, modify it, and repurpose it across other channels—a strategy Meltzer refers to as “getting four for one.”

Live streaming also lets your audience experience your energy and frequency, strengthening the bond between you and your followers. It’s not about perfection; it’s about authenticity. “Take advantage of the opportunity, and don’t worry about making mistakes. Just go live,” Meltzer urges.

David Meltzer’s digital playbook is a masterclass in leveraging modern platforms to build a thriving personal brand. By focusing on YouTube’s massive reach, embracing frequent posting on Instagram, and harnessing the power of going live, you can position yourself for lasting success in the digital space.

Whether you’re a seasoned entrepreneur or just starting, these strategies offer a roadmap to connect, engage, and grow your audience. It’s not just about being seen—it’s about building a community that resonates with your vision.
