Toast POS is our Primary Technology Partner

Toast is the primary technology partner for Cali BBQ.

That means it’s the core of our ordering — whether you are dining in at our Spring Valley restaurant or searching Google for “Barbecue Near Me” in San Diego on your cell phone.

Do you own a restaurant or bar? The #1 thing to do when opening a restaurant is to find a primary technology partner like Toast.

We trust Toast because we know it works well. The company is full of great people, too. That’s why we tell other restaurant owners to try out Toast POS and restaurant management system for themselves.

We use Toast POS at our full service restaurant and also our Ghost Kitchens because it creates smoother ordering by reducing the chance of kitchen errors and putting the guest in the driver’s seat.

We switched after 13 years with Aloha POS to Toast Point of Sale. We did that because we knew that we need to be digital-first. Toast gives us online ordering, gift cards, loyalty, table ordering.

We’re using all of the things that Toast provides a restaurant and we’re creating content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and we’re blogging about it.

It’s very important for restaurant owners to know that there are technology companies out there that can help them scale their business. When you take care of your partners, your partners take care of you.

Toast has a pending IPO valued at about $18 billion, according to Bloomberg News. Toast technology has been used by nearly 50,000 restaurants and the company has made $38 billion in a year. The company, which was incorporated in 2011, plans to use the symbol TOST on the New York Stock Exchange.

The company has said its software allows for diners to order online, in-person or over their phones. Restaurants can also use the guest data it captures to craft loyalty and marketing programs.
