The San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl 2021 game was set to take place at Petco Park in San Diego at 5pm (PST) on 12/28/21.
The Holiday Bowl was canceled because of reported cases of COVID-19 in players. Cali BBQ was serving barbecue catering just before the Holiday Bowl 2021 when the NCAA post-season game was suddenly canceled.

Here’s what UCLA Football announced about pulling out of the game: “The UCLA football team is unable to participate in tonight’s San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl due to COVID-19 protocols within the Bruins’ program.”
“We are deeply disappointed for our young men in the football program that worked extremely hard for this opportunity,” UCLA athletic director Martin Jarmond announced.
The 2021 Holiday Bowl takes place at Petco Park in San Diego, California at 5pm (PST) on December 28.

Holiday Bowl 2021 —
The San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl has been played yearly in San Diego since 1978. SDCCU has been the NCAA Division I college football bowl game title sponsor since 2017.
The 2021 Holiday Bowl post-season game lineup was UCLA vs. NC State.
The game is also a huge San Diego community celebration with the Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade, tailgate parties, and a concert benefiting the Rady Children’s Hospital.
